Please find a collection of resources and websites below to support your child with their transition to secondary school.

 

We would also suggest doing the following activities to help them prepare:

 

• Look at the secondary school's website, inparticular the:
  • School Rules and Expectations
  • Clubs
  • Lunch Menu/Prices
  • Uniform and equipment
  • Staff Information
  • Timetable/Important Times
     
• Look at the school on maps/street view
• Plan their route to the secondary school
• Do a practice run getting to school and home
• Research the school (Wikipedia and local news papers)
