We are very fortunate at Fleetdown to have a very active HSA that is and has been an integral part of the school community for many years. The HSA is run as a charity and has raised thousands of pounds for the school. These funds are spent on resources, subsidising school trips, Easter egg hunts etc.
The HSA committee, which meets regularly, consists of parents, members of staff, an elected Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Meetings are held on a regular basis and new volunteers are always welcome.
The AGM takes place each November and is a perfect time to join the committee and put forward your fund raising ideas.
Other ways you can get involved include donating raffle prizes, having a stall at the summer fete or Christmas Bazaar, being part of our Give as You Earn scheme or asking your employers to match fund.
