Term 5 – ‘I do like to be beside the seaside!’ 

This term we are learning all about coastal regions.  In our topic lessons will be looking at geographical features of the coast, comparing similarities and differences of the seaside over time and why people visit the beach.  During science, we will be looking at the scientist Jacques Cousteau.  In PE, our focus is dance and attacking tactics.  PSHE will see us learn about the differences between genders.

In our English lessons we will be looking at different texts based on the seaside. From these, we will be writing our own narratives, recounts based on real events,  and letters to our future teachers.

In our maths lessons, the focus is on time, positional movement and direction.
