Events and Support for Parents
We believe it is really important that parents feel supported and have regular opportunities to talk to the SEN team about their child and SEN provision at Fleetdown. We hold our SEN Parent forum four times a year and coffee afternoons for parents of children with SEN every half term. There will often be guest speakers joining us to offer advice and answer questions, as well as an opportunity for tea, coffee and biscuits and a chat. The Ark SEN team will also be in attendance to answer any questions or queries you may have. Everyone is welcome to come to these coffee afternoons (but please let us know if you are attending so that we can accommodate numbers). In addition, there will sometimes be training opportunities and courses for parents run at Fleetdown, which we welcome all parents to attend as well. This page with also be regularly updated with external events, such as those run by BEAM or Ifield Smile Centre.
